BAKING- X-MAS COOKIES MARATHON REPORT
Did anyone of you ever run a marathon?Well, I haven’t, but one thing I can say for sure is that being part of a “baking x-mas cookies marathon” is probably as exhausting as running a marathon! And it’s not at all as much fun as I thought it would be!
No, it wasn’t that bad, actually it was real fun, but after hours and hours of baking, rolling out the cookie dough, washing up dishes and putting marmalade/ chocolate/ desiccated coconut on the cookies, I was just exhausted, tired and wanted to go to sleep!
Yep, it was my idea, but I have never done it before and I was just thinking about the fun factor. When I “designed” the idea, the only thing I thought about was the end version of the cookie, not the work that it takes for the cookie to look the way it looks like in the end…
Anyway, it was a great experience we (my Mom and I) made!
We, or, to be honest, it was my Mom who started; she made the dough that had to rest for a few hours. So with the rolling out and forming we started at around 2 p.m. and we were done at around 8.30 p.m. We made 7 different cookie sorts and … that’s it! The pictures themselves will tell you the rest! However, I realized that I forgot to take a picture of the end version of two cookies ….
NEVERTHELESS, HAVE FUN LOOKING AT THE PICS!
