GOING HOME...

All I need to do is sleep 1.5 nights and that's it! I'm back home! Why this half night? Well, Anna and I are going home with a night train and as I know from my many trips with the train, we won't sleep much, or at least not very well. Anyway, it's worth it!!! I'm looking forward, to see my Mom and my friends again.
Oh my God! I forgot the cutest thing ever! My MICKEY!!!! How could I?
If I won't be too tired I'll go to the movies with Dasi on Thursday. On Friday my Mom and I are planning a "baking- cookies- marathon"! ;) It was my idea! All day long we won't do anything else than baking cookies, baking cookies and more baking cookies! Probably I won't try any cookie after this ;)

Well, and you know how the rest of the "break" goes on! Going out with friends at night and spending the day with the family ;)
I'm really looking forward for the x-mas break, even though it won't be much of a relaxing break. More a busy break. Meeting people, doing homework and writing presentations, studying for exams ... DAMN! HAVING FUN!!!
LOVE YA GUYS!!
XOXO

FAULE NADA ;)

Anyway ... I could have written it in English first hand, but as I have some spare time, I decided to do a translation, it’s a good exercise for my study ;)
I first wrote in German because my English isn’t good enough (even though I’m studying it) so that I can express my thoughts … I hope it’ll soon change, it has to, otherwise I don’t see myself passing those damn hard exams ....
I’m supposed to study Bulgarian but absolutely don’t feel like doing it. I rather write a blog entry.
Apart from watching TV and doing things on my laptop I didn’t do anything else today after coming back from uni … horrible, but I guess every one of us has a day like that, isn’t it?
Next week is X-mas and I wrote in my German version that there is a tradition between my Mom and me. We always have a fight on the 24th And as you may know Croatian people, or especially I, am very, very passionate and therefore you might be able to imagine how a fight between me and anyone else looks like … doors banging, screaming and so on. That’s how it looks like when my Mom and I are fighting on the 24th. Sometimes it’s not that bad, but usually it is … anyway, every story has a happy end, and so does this one to! After our huge fights we forgive one another and then go to the Croatian church at midnight. Isn’t that a nice tradition? ;) At least now I realized where my gray hair comes from ...

LOVE YA GUYS!!!!!

EDVARD MUNCH's B- DAY

WHO KNOW'S WHO EDVARD MUNCH IS?

Here a little tip:

The Scream

Now you know who he is ... or??
Anyway, today would be his B-Day ... here a little info from "Wikipedia":

"Edvard Munch (December 12, 1863 – January 23, 1944) was a Norwegian expressionist painter and printmaker.
The Scream (1893; originally called Despair), Munch's best-known painting, is one of the pieces in a series titled The Frieze of Life, in which Munch explored the themes of life, love, fear, death and melancholy. As with many of his works, he painted several versions of it. One version was stolen in 1994 and another in 2004. Both versions have since been recovered.
The Frieze of Life themes recur throughout Munch's work, in paintings such as The Coney Dog (1886, portrait of his deceased sister Sophie), Vampire (1893–94), Ashes (1894), and The Bridge. The latter shows limp figures with featureless or hidden faces, over which loom the threatening shapes of heavy trees and brooding houses. Munch portrayed women either as frail, innocent sufferers or as lurid, life-devouring vampires. Munch analysts say this reflects his sexual anxieties. [...]"

KAKO PREPOZNATI HRVATA ....

- nemate mikrovalnu pećnicu jer nije zdrava i zrači

World AIDS Day

Today is the 1st of December and it's not just the first day of the month December, it's the "WORLD AIDS DAY"! A day no one of us should forget .... therefore I made this entry!

This year's theme is :"Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise - Accountability"

"World AIDS Day, observed December 1 each year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the global AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. AIDS has killed more than 25 million people, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. Despite recent, improved access to antiretroviral treatment and care in many regions of the world, the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 3.1 million (between 2.8 and 3.6 million) lives in 2005 of which, more than half a million (570,000) were children.
The concept of a World AIDS Day originated at the 1988 World Summit of Ministers of Health on Programmes for AIDS Prevention. Since then, it has been taken up by governments, international organizations and charities around the world.
From 1988 to 2004, the World AIDS Day was organized by UNAIDS, who, after consultation with other organizations, chose a theme. In 2005 UNAIDS handed over responsibility for World AIDS Day to The World AIDS Campaign (WAC), an independent organisation. In 2005, they chose Stop AIDS: Keep the Promise as the theme for World AIDS days through to 2010. This theme is not specific to World AIDS Day but also to the work WAC does throughout the year." (from Wikipedia)

SO GUYS/GIRLS... ALWAYS BE AWARE (no matter where you live! you never know!)AND .... WELL, I GUESS I CAN SAY IT STRAIGHT FORWARD: USE A CONDOME!!!!!!!
